Police Check
(Vulnerable Sector Check)
There are multiple kinds of police check. We require a Vulnerable Sector Check (sometimes called Vulnerable Sector Screening) for volunteers working with vulnerable sectors (e.g., children and youth), which goes beyond the standard police check. Please ensure you are getting the correct kind of police check.
You must get a police check in the police service that covers your residence. If you live within the City of Guelph you must apply through Guelph Police Service. If you live in Wellington County, you must apply through the Ontario Provincial Police.
All police checks (including Vulnerable Sector Checks) must be applied for online. Click the button below according to where you live to be taken to their online application.
