Worship Service

Service Time

Sundays, 10:30 AM

You may want to come a little early to be greeted and get settled.

Kids

Birth - Grade 6

Children join us for the beginning of the service and will be dismissed to their classrooms before the sermon.

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the service to get them signed in and introduced to their classroom and teacher.

After-worship Cafe

Feel free to join us for coffee, tea, and a snack after the worship service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I park?

We have ample parking in our parking lot.

What do I wear?

You are free to dress however you like. Most dress somewhere between casual and smart casual.

What kind of music do you play?

We play a blend of contemporary songs and traditional hymns. We may even throw in a fun kids’ song now and again (which even our adults tend to enjoy).

Our music ministry is being rebuilt, so for now you will find we often use music videos to supplement our worship.

How long is the service? How long is the sermon?

Typically the service is between an hour and an hour and 15 minutes (occasionally a little longer). The sermon is typically around 30 minutes long. Thus, given that the service begins at 10:30, we are typically done around 11:30-11:45 (at which time our After Worship Cafe begins).

Do you observe communion/ the Lord's Supper/ eucharist?

Yes! We generally refer to it as “communion.” We typically take communion on the first Sunday of the month. Communion is open to anyone of any age who confesses Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour.

What kind of church are you?

We are associated with the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec (otherwise known as “Convention Baptist” to some). Canadian Baptists are very diverse, so we could be very similar or very different than your last Baptist experience.
